Wedding 1 of 3

May 16th kicked off the summer of weddings!! This wedding we were all apart of so it was a little busier than the others will be but it was so much fun and to top it off...I got a sister! A sister-in-law to be exact but either way she's a pretty cool sister. It goes without saying but Lindsey looked beautiful! We didn't know if we were going to be able to have the wedding outside with all the rain that day but it stopped raining just in time and the ceremony was a go! What fun the day was and all the things that went along with the wedding. So glad to have her officially in the family!

P.S. Cooper did pretty good during the ceremony. I don't think people noticed how Daniel had to "wrestle" with him to stand still but all in all he did good. Oh and he can't wait to wear his suit again. He LOVED it! He thought he was hot stuff and just like the other big boys. Too cute!

Crawling Cate & The Graudate

Cate has been crawling for a while now but I haven't posted any pictures of it. I usually put her in the living room on the floor with a few of her favorite toys but she stays there for about 3 minutes. Then she's off to find momma or bubba. It's so funny to hear her coming around the corner! She likes crawling but I think she's ready to walk. Once she gets anywhere she can pull up, she's up and ready to walk...as long as she can hold onto something. Those cute dresses sometimes make it hard for her to crawl so once she's walking, bring on the cute sundresses!

This is her first actual crawl. She was so surprised she was actually getting somewhere!
This was the other day in the rain. We went outside to see the rain and she insisted I put her down. I did, under the porch, but she wanted to get out in the rain!

It seems like we just enrolled Cooper in his Tues-Thur school and now he's done with his 2 year old class and graduating! We're so happy that most if not all of his friends will be back next year and he also gets to have Ms. Summer for a teacher. We loved Ms. Katie and we'll definitely miss her but at least we get to see her at church and next year at school in the hallway. Isn't my little graduate so cute and sweet?!
The kids are waiting paitiently for their name to be called so they can walk across the stage and get their bear and certificate.

This is one of Cooper's friends from school. She is such a sweet girl!

Ms. Katie and Cooper posing for one last picture.

I wear underwear!

Yaaaay!! Cooper is officially potty trained!!! A week and a day ago after nap I thought, I'm going to try this potty training and see how it goes. Obviously he was ready because he hasn't looked back! He is proud of his Thomas and Lightning McQueen underwear but he especially loves his Diego underwear. He likes to look in his basket of underwear and really think about which underwear to put on for the day. It was a little scary for him to go #2 on the potty but he conquered that a few days ago too. He had one accident but it was really close. He just couldn't get to the toilet in time. We are so proud of this little man! He has embarrased me a couple of times yelling "I have to go pee-pee!" in public but I usually get sympathetic smiles. He did embarass me outside of the Chili's restaurant because he thought he could go pee in the bushes and almost successfully pulled down his pants and underwear. Regardless, I am so glad to be buying only one package of diapers instead of two.

RoughRiders

Last weekend we went to our first of hopefully many trips to the Dr Pepper Ballpark to see the Frisco RoughRiders. We had so much fun!! Cooper was amazed for quite a while but his 3 year old attention span finally kicked in and we had to take a visit to the playground. Thanks to my parents, we were able to get a suite and now we are SPOILED! We had so much room and with kids, you pretty much need that. Cate was able to get down and crawl/cruise around. The fireworks at the end of the game were a perfect way to end the night. We were a little scared about Cate's reaction but she wanted more. She kept pointing and doing sign language for more. Can't wait to do it again!!
